A Brief Introduction About Greg Grenda

 Greg Grenda was born on October 26, 1986, in Buffalo, NY, where he was also raised. He attended Canisius High School and later lived in Florida for college before moving to Australia, where he resided for a year. Greg graduated from the University at Buffalo with Summa Cum Laude honors and received the McConnell/MacPherson Award in International Trade in recognition of his achievements.


Greg has been with his partner, Jenna, for 13 years, and in 2022, they purchased their first home in Buffalo. Their first child, Dylan Gregory Grenda, was born the day after Greg's birthday last year, on October 27, 2023. Greg is an avid sports fan, with season tickets to his favorite teams, the Buffalo Bills and Sabres. He is passionate about traveling and has visited over 25 countries. He is also actively pursuing EU citizenship with Jenna.

Greg enjoys staying active and regularly engages in fly fishing, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, and competitive sailing. Sailing is a true passion of his, having sailed over 10,000 miles. He is the head navigator on one of the largest boats on the Great Lakes, Damn Yankee (Farr 60), and has competed in various national regattas. Greg is also a member of his local neighborhood association, the Allentown Association, as well as a member of the Buffalo Yacht Club.

An entrepreneur at heart, Greg is in the process of starting a blog called Dad Gear Blog, which reviews gear for new fathers. He is also launching a business and website called Buffalo Smart Home, which specializes in wiring smart homes. Additionally, he is in the early stages of organizing a festival called Buffalo Weck Fest, celebrating one of Buffalo’s iconic local foods, the beef on weck sandwich.


Regarding his career, Greg is a customer-focused and success-driven professional with a passion for new technologies. He has expertise in sales cycles, account management, new business acquisition, relationship-building, and maintaining high conversion rates. Greg excels in optimizing workflows, monitoring sales growth, and prospecting for businesses with high growth potential. He is skilled at driving sales with customized pitches, proposals, and deep brand and product knowledge. He is also an articulate communicator, adept at engaging with new and existing customers, providing exceptional customer care, and fostering business retention and growth.

Currently, Greg is the Head of Business Development at Northeast Transport, a shipping and logistics company, but he is looking to make a career change. He is also a partner at Hofert Homes, where he restores homes and primarily handles sales, bids, quotes, project management, and oversees operations.
